Project Overview
Tristan Chart is a commercial real estate agent based in British Columbia, Canada. When Tristan contacted us about a new website he had no centralized web presence for his brand. He had a few specific sites for projects that he was selling or involved in, and he was featured on his brokerage’s website as an agent, but nothing distinctly “Tristan Chart Commercial”.
As Tristan told us, commercial real estate is all about building relationships and trust in the industry.
Tristan wanted a website to:
- Have a centralized digital location for everything related to Tristan Chart Commercial.
- Automate his listing pages to showcase his listings to clients without having to manage the website.
- Attract more organic online leads that he otherwise wouldn’t have access to by in-person networking or word of mouth.
It makes sense.
Tristan was busy enough building his reputation and brand offline, but he also knew that having a digital presence in today’s real estate markets is an absolute necessity.
The project aimed to spread Tristan’s brand awareness in his local market, showcase both his listings and other listings in his area to increase the views on his listings and get access to more deals, attract new leads via organic traffic, streamline client interactions, and simplify getting in touch with Tristan.
Our primary focus was designing and building a brand new modern site. As Tristan had no web presence previously, it was important for us to strategize exactly what his potential user's intent was, and what we wanted them to use the website for. Integrating a 3rd party API to automatically pull real estate listings to the site to increase visibility, and optimizing his informational pages with clear calls-to-action and copywriting were the foundations for the site.
Objectives
- Modern, Trustworthy-feeling, Website Design - Design the website putting Tristan’s reputation first. Tristan already had a strong reputation offline, we needed to convey the same feeling online.
- Webflow Development - Ensuring the site was easy to update in the future. Webflow makes it easy to update, edit, and re-design in the future if need be.
- Boost SEO and Online Discovery - Optimize informational pages with keyword-rich content to rank on Google. Clean site structure, and fast page load times.
- Increase Warm Leads Exposure - Clear, strong CTAs, intentional and informative copywriting to increase conversion and guide users to contact Tristan.
- Custom Automation - Automate all listings that Tristan uploads to his local real estate board to be automatically added and published to the Webflow CMS. Giving Tristan time to do what he does best, source and close deals.

The website was developed in Webflow which allowed us the flexibility to design a bespoke, fast, and functional website. The site is fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

- SEO Optimization - Boosted SEO with updated informational pages, schema markup, and clear site structure, extending his reach beyond his local market. Our primary focuses were keyword relevance, clear CTA, and site speed.
- SEO optimized real estate listings - Due to the flexibility of Webflow we were able to optimize the page structure for all the listings on the site. Within 30 days we were getting traffic from multiple listings that weren’t Tristan’s but he was marketing via the Custom Listing API.
- Niche Keyword Ranking - Real estate listing pages were optimized to include niche types of data from the custom API, this helped the site rank for specific keywords that were low competition but high-intent.
- Custom Listing Automation - Automated new listings for Tristan’s entire sales territory, hundreds of listings. This saved Tristan hours of time, re-uploading his listings from the real estate board and his website, and brought him deal flow from listings he otherwise would’ve had to manually source himself.
SEO Strategy
We managed the site’s copywriting, ensuring that we aligned with Tristan’s brand voice and key messaging while also targeting relevant keywords and phrases.
- Keyword Relevant Copywriting - We did keyword research and discovered low competition but high volume keywords in Tristan’s area. Weaving them into the site had a significant boost in SEO from day one of the site launch.
- Details about the team Tristan works with, to get cross referenced in organic search and rank for the teams keywords.
- Custom listing filters for both “For Sale” and “For Lease” listings.
- Maximized site speed by optimizing content such as images, large scale videos, and other heavy lifts. We integrated solutions such as a CDN where necessary to improve site speed without compromising on quality.

- SEO presence from day one (and growing) - Within 1 -2 days of website launch we were seeing impressions for multiple niche keywords, within a week we were starting to see a consistent flow of leads, and within 90 days organic search traffic was up +440%.
